Can you believe it’s already November?
I am super shocked at how fast this year has gone by! Think of it this way, 2019 is in two months!!! Crazy, right? Now I will never call myself a beauty guru, but I did accumulate a few beauty goodies over the last month. But first, here are my Autumn/Fall Beauty Favs!
1. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation $39
First off, I want to thank one of my long time favorite beauty Youtubers, Jackie Aina, for her collaboration with Too Faced to expand the shade range for women of color. I knew you were a real one! It truly has been a struggle to find a foundation to match my actual skin tone. Most foundations that I have tried in the past have failed miserably. They have either been too light, too dark, made me look like a ghost, or made me look super red. The closest that I’ve gotten to a matching foundation was NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in the shade Macao. Now, I finally have a second option (might be my first option) in Too Faced in the shade Chai. It is my go-to foundation now and I absolutely love it!
2. Too Faced Born This Way Loose Setting Powder $33
Yes, I know what you’re thinking. Another Too Faced product? Yes. What can I say? I had to give it a try. Once I tried it, it became my new addiction. It comes in 3 shades: Translucent, Medium, and Deep. I have the color Medium which is so perfect for my oily combination skin.
3. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer $30
One product that has never done me wrong is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I am in love with the smooth texture when I apply it to my face and it truly does its job. It’s been a year round favorite for me for a while. I have it in the color Caramel but soon I’m gonna give Walnut a try just to see if its a better color match.
4. NYX Away We Glow Liquid $17
I honestly am one of those girls that loves to have a golden glow in my face when I have my face made up. This is the perfect product to do that with whether you’re going full steam ahead with makeup, or if you just wanna wing it with not that much makeup. I will say that you do have to be careful when you use it because it’s easy to use way too much (ie. my first time using it was a bit of a disaster).
5. Morphe 25A Copper Spice Eyeshadow Palette $19
I can honestly say Morphe is becoming one of my favorite brands to buy eye shadow palettes from. The pigmentation is crazy and in result, I don’t have to pack so much product onto my eye. There is a bit of fall out but that’s nothing that a little pre-application of setting powder can’t fix, right?
